Information on the activities of "Ashgabat Stock Exchange" CJSC

           "Ashgabat Stock Exchange" CJSC was established under the State Programme for the Development of the Securities Market of Turkmenistan for 2012-2016 and in accordance with the Law of Turkmenistan "On the Securities Market", and by Resolution of the President of Turkmenistan No. 14839 of 23 June 2016.

           "Ashgabat Stock Exchange" CJSC was registered on 17 August 2016 with the Department for State Registration of Legal Entities and Investment Projects of the Ministry of Economy and Development of Turkmenistan under number 15172825, and re-registered on 5 November 2021.

           The core activity of "Ashgabat Stock Exchange" CJSC is organising and holding exchange trading on the securities market of Turkmenistan.

"Ashgabat Stock Exchange" CJSC organises exchange trading in securities only among its members. Professional participants of the securities market may be members of the stock exchange. Other participants of the securities market may carry out operations on stock exchanges only through members of the stock exchange. At present, 7 legal entities have been admitted as members of "Ashgabat Stock Exchange" CJSC.

The activities of "Ashgabat Stock Exchange" CJSC are financed mainly from: fees for registering exchange transactions and fees for services provided by the stock exchange.

 "Ashgabat Stock Exchange" CJSC operates on the basis of a Licence for organising and holding trading on the securities market.
